Evolution Dance Academy (formerly The Dance Company) is one of the leading dance institutions in Indianapolis. We are committed to providing high-quality dance education to enhance the overall development of each child.
Established in 1976, our long-term success is a result of providing informed, solid training, educational content, individualized attention, and leadership to our students in a safe, supportive environment.
Located within the City of Indianapolis, EDA is a comprehensive dance facility on Indy’s southside. We have two studios and seven styles on offer for students from ages 2.5 to 18.
Dance classes improve cognitive development, coordination and muscular awareness while allowing children to express themselves through movement. Our classes encourage young people to develop a positive self-image as they increase awareness of their physical being and build skills to last a lifetime.
The teachers at Evolution Dance Academy take their roles as a leader and mentor in your child’s life very seriously. The highest educational standards are expected from all staff. They are lifelong learners who are committed to continuing education through certification programs, teacher- training schools, conferences, and other learning opportunities.
